Double Whammy!

This poor kid cannot catch a break! Last weekend while we were visiting Sean and Hailey up near Fresno he knocked his head on the picnic table right between the eyes - that bruise is right between his eyes and it started draining into his eyes so it looks like he has 2 black eyes - although the bruise is an orangish yellow now. Well, yesterday he banged into OUR table and gave himself a real shiner! Nope, that's not purple eyeshadow, that's the real deal there. On top of it he got pinkeye/conjunctivitis so now we have to hold him down and put eyedrops in both eyes.... 4 times a day. I feel so bad for him!

Happy Birthday Carter!

Carter turned 8 today! I can't believe it's already here! He enjoyed his annual breakfast cereal pick, this year it was Cookie Crisp. He also got a way cool lego backpack and an Indiana Jones lego set!

Happy Birthday Carter! We love you!

Friday in Utah: Discovery Museum in SLC!

The "construction zone"

Grandma and Tyler building a lego tower

Tyler putting paper up the fan chutes, they would suck it up and spit it out, it was lots of fun!

Carter made this awesome tunnel that the golf balls would travel through and come out, kind of like marbleworks. He's such a smart kid!

Overall, this place was great! The kids had lots of fun and there was plenty to do over the two floors of hands on activities for the kids. I think Tyler's favorites were the fans and the ball chutes, Carter and Derek loved the Construction Zone.

Thursday: Kangaroo Zoo!!

This place in Pleasant Grove is awesome!

I could either watch for free, or pay an extra 5 dollars and play too. After a few minutes, I totally went back and paid for myself too! It was SO fun!
